Engineer, Senior - BT Platform Power FW

You will be joining the BDC BT firmware team in Bangalore as an integral part of the BT controller firmware development team. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing BSP features for the Qualcomm BT controller IP in C programming language. - Ensuring the best possible KPIs for products across different segments, including boot-time, power, and robustness. - Developing an understanding of the BT protocol and implementation and contributing to the development and maintenance of the solution. - Supporting bug fixes through the project lifecycle from ROM development to Customer Sampling (CS). - Communicating status, bugs, and issues to leads. - Conducting software and hardware debugging of issues. - Collaborating with colleagues across geos and teams to optimize solutions. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree in Electronics or Computer Science from an internationally recognized institution. - 3-5 years of experience in a relevant engineering role. - Masters Degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an internationally recognized institution. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: - Proficient C programming skills and extensive embedded development experience, preferably in the wireless communications area. - Solid understanding of processor architecture, including bus interfaces and power management. - Good understanding of electronic hardware and reading schematics. - Familiarity with RTOS, serial interfaces, and drivers. - Experience working on BT upper or lower stacks and understanding of BT controller specifications is a plus. - Knowledge of Radio fundamentals, especially Bluetooth or WiFi, is advantageous. - Familiarity with Bluetooth sniffer tools, analysis of air traces and logs, and usage of embedded debuggers. - Work experience with ASIC emulators is a bonus. - Python scripting skills are a plus. - Self-motivated, open-minded, adaptable team player comfortable with taking responsibility for deliverables.,
