As a Qualcomm Software Test Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the Engineering Group, focusing on Software Test Engineering. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the design, development, and modification of test cases to validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, and automation tools. By working on cutting-edge products, you will contribute to creating a smarter, connected future for all. Collaboration with various engineering teams is an essential aspect of this position to ensure the successful implementation of test plans. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering. - Or, Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering. - Or, PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering. - At least 2 years of experience in Software Test or System Test, including developing and automating test plans and tools like Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. - 6+ years of experience in Software Test Engineering. - 3+ years of experience with Advanced Development Skills and Test Frameworks. - 2+ years of experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Principal Duties And Responsibilities: - Utilize advanced software and systems knowledge to design and validate test cases for various software components. - Develop and implement complex test plans and scripts to identify failures in code and systems. - Collaborate with software engineers to report and analyze software defects, ensuring product quality. - Develop test case automations and scripts to enhance productivity. Level Of Responsibility: - Work independently with minimal supervision. - Provide guidance to team members. - Make significant decisions that impact beyond the immediate work group. - Communicate effectively to convey information and influence decisions. - Have influence over key organizational decisions. - Engage in planning, problem-solving, and prioritization to complete tasks effectively.
