Engineer IV, Software

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer IV at Omnicell, your role involves working directly with the Product Owner to convert user stories into production-ready applications using C++, C#.Net, and Angular. You will troubleshoot complex application and system-level issues to develop effective solutions. Additionally, you will design and implement client software with a focus on performance and quality. Collaboration with team members in a fast-paced Agile scrum environment is crucial. Providing regular status updates and risk assessments on product development, evaluating, reviewing designs, and testing software to ensure it meets requirements are also part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will analyze and improve product efficiency, scalability, and stability while mentoring other engineers to enhance their skills. Key Responsibilities: - 9+ years of experience in software design and development, with expertise in C++, Windows OS, and drivers. - Proficiency in C++, C#, .Net, and Angular technologies. - Experience in developing WebAPI RESTful services, Windows Service, and Desktop applications. - Strong knowledge of Windows OS and drivers. - Ability to create reusable and testable modules. - Hands-on experience with unit testing and integration testing. - Moderate SQL skills and strong problem-solving abilities. - Leadership skills and experience in 24/7 application development. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - 4+ years of experience with C# and .Net, with 2+ years in Angular or related technologies. - Previous experience in driver-level development is a plus. - Knowledge of Agile development principles and Microsoft patterns and practices.,
