Full job description We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Equity Dealer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing client trades via call and trade, providing comprehensive information about IPOs, and assisting clients with their documentation such as ledgers, profit & loss statements, and other relevant reports. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of the Indian stock market and its various segments, including equity, derivatives, and commodities. Key Responsibilities: Execute buy and sell orders for clients through call and trade channels promptly and accurately. Provide clients with up-to-date information on IPOs, market trends, and investment opportunities. Assist clients in preparing and managing their trading-related documents, including ledgers, profit & loss statements, and other compliance reports. Maintain detailed records of all client transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor market movements across different segments such as equities, derivatives, and commodities to advise clients effectively. Collaborate with the back-office team to ensure smooth settlement and documentation processes. Qualifications & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Equity Dealer or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of the Indian stock market and its segments: equity, derivatives, and commodities. Proven experience with ODIN / Symphony dealer terminals. Strong communication and client management skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Experience Required: 3+ years in SEBI compliance, with hands-on experience in PMS & AIF regulations Key Responsibilities: Advisory on SEBI Registration: Guide in preparing and filing SEBI registration applications for PMS and/or AIF (Category I/II/III as applicable). Assist with drafting or reviewing the Private Placement Memorandum (PPM), disclosures, and agreements. Liaise with SEBI or help the company’s legal team in handling queries during the registration process. Compliance Framework Setup: Design and implement an internal compliance structure tailored to a startup environment. Develop SOPs, checklists, and templates for regular compliance reporting and record-keeping. Assist in selecting and training the in-house compliance officer, if required.
