We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead market expansion and customer acquisition for our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) SaaS platform. The role involves identifying high-value opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth by positioning our platform as the preferred choice for organizations seeking ESG compliance, reporting, and performance improvement. Key Responsibilities 1. Market Development & Sales Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries (e.g., real estate, construction, manufacturing, logistics, financial services). Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for different customer segments. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure, ensuring consistent achievement of targets. 2. Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, consultants, and ESG ecosystem partners. Engage with C-level executives, sustainability officers, and compliance teams to understand their ESG needs. Represent the company at industry events, forums, and conferences. 3. Strategic Partnerships Identify and onboard channel partners, ESG consultants, and industry associations to expand reach. Collaborate with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and certification authorities for market penetration. 4. Product & Market Intelligence Gather market feedback to guide product enhancements and feature development. Stay updated on ESG regulations, frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD), and market trends. 5. Revenue Growth & Reporting Prepare business development forecasts and performance reports. Work with marketing to create impactful sales collateral, case studies, and thought leadership content. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or related field (MBA preferred). 2-3 years of experience in business development, preferably in SaaS, sustainability, or compliance platforms. Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and corporate responsibility. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
