Embedded Software Developer - C++ Programming

As an Embedded Software Developer with 4+ years of experience, you will be responsible for defining system requirements and specifying software functions for complex mobile machines in special vehicle construction. Your main tasks will include developing C++ applications on embedded Linux, programming websites using HTML with Lua, and managing development activities with system suppliers. You will also be involved in selecting suitable hardware components, conducting functional tests, commissioning, troubleshooting on vehicles, and preparing documentation in English. To excel in this role, you should have a degree in BE - E&TC / Electrical / Mechatronics / Computer Science / Automotive or relevant field, or possess equivalent experience as a technician in mechatronics, electronics, computer science, or automotive engineering. Your ability to independently manage and coordinate development tasks with partners, along with your quality awareness and structured approach to work, will be essential. Having knowledge of CAN Open, Ethernet, and IoT is crucial, while familiarity with Python is desirable. You should demonstrate a good understanding of electrical design in mobile machines and enjoy working across disciplines such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and computer science. Flexibility to travel for commissioning and testing, a valid car driving license, and proficiency in both German and English are also required for this position in Germany.
