Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware/software using

  C/C++

• Develop software for

  multithreaded RTOS and/or Embedded Linux

  environments.
• Work with low-level embedded concepts including:
• Interrupts
• Device drivers
• Memory management
• Hardware/software interfaces
• Perform object-oriented design and apply appropriate software design patterns.
• Develop and maintain firmware functionality for optical pluggable products.

• Direct optical-pluggables development: CMIS/SFF

  ,

  coherent ZR/ZR++

  , firmware upgrade, and module state management
• Work on optical/networking areas including:

• CMIS

• OTN

• DSP/line configuration
• Optical module management and control
• Analyze and resolve:
• Software defects

• Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Develop supporting utilities and automation using
