Embedded C++/Linux Developer

You have 8 to 10 years of experience in architecture & design, prototyping, software development & implementation plan, code review, and unit testing for consumer electronic devices. You hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronics, or an equivalent field. Your proficiency lies in C, C++/C++11, JavaScript, and JSON. You have experience in developing media pipeline stacks and video streaming technologies such as DASH, HLS, Progressive Download, etc. Additionally, you are familiar with Digital Rights Management (Widevine/Playready/FairPlay) and Secure Media Pipeline, as well as audio/video formats like H264, HEVC, mp4, CMAF, MPEG2-TS, HDR, Dolby Vision, etc. Your expertise extends to Media frameworks like Gstreamer, FFMPEG, multi-threaded programming, and Inter-process communication. You possess good communication and problem-solving skills and are self-motivated, proactive, and a good team player. Your responsibilities will include reviewing product requirements, creating technical requirements, designing and architecting new products, understanding and improving existing software, creating prototypes, design documents, and technical tasks, as well as suggesting implementation plans. You will develop core components, conduct code reviews to ensure implementation aligns with the design, and create tools to measure product quality and identify defects automatically. Within 3 months, you will be able to triage bugs and implement feature details by collaborating with other teams. By 6 months, you will have a detailed understanding of media stack architecture and identify necessary improvements for a better user experience.
