Electro - Mechanical Design Engineer - Power distribution Systems

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in power distribution systems. This role involves designing integrated systems that combine electrical and mechanical components for power distribution applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles, with proficiency in Solidworks and Autodesk Inventor. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop electro-mechanical systems for power distribution, using Solidworks and Autodesk Inventor. Create detailed models and technical drawings for electrical and mechanical system components. Design control panels, switchgear, and other electrical components integrated with mechanical systems. Perform thermal, vibration, and stress analysis on system components to ensure reliability. Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical designs. Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards in power distribution systems. Conduct prototype testing, troubleshooting, and validation of systems. Assist in the commissioning and installation of power distribution systems. Develop technical documentation, user manuals, and system specifications. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 2-8 years of experience in electro-mechanical design for power distribution systems. Proficiency in Solidworks and Autodesk Inventor. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems. Solid understanding of mechanical principles and material properties. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and design skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
