Description
Knowledge Project Planning and Design: Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop electrical system designs, including load calculations, cable routing, equipment placement, and distribution . Installation Supervision: Overseeing the installation of electrical systems and equipment, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety codes, and industry standards. Quality Assurance: Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that electrical work meets the required standards and addressing any issues or discrepancies. Safety Compliance: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that electrical installations adhere to safety codes and regulations. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving electrical problems and issues that arise during the project, devising solutions, and ensuring the project stays on schedule. Documentation and Reporting: Preparing and maintaining reports on project progress, electrical work, safety inspections, and other relevant documentation. Commissioning: Ensuring that electrical systems are tested and commissioned to operate as intended, verifying that they meet project specifications and safety standards. Coordination: Working closely with other engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient project execution. Budget and Schedule Management: Contributing to cost estimation, monitoring expenses, and ensuring that electrical work stays within the allocated budget and timeline. Essential Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices. Proficiency in using electrical design and engineering software. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and codes. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good understanding of safety regulations and best practices. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes.
