Lab and all other equipments are well advanced. But staff is still same as lazy, feel like working in government office. They don't have proper planning. You have to wait long time for 1 or 2 hours test. Staff co-ordination is very poor. Worst experience ever.

Erda is important for power sector, it's an International renowned laboratory. It supports Electrical Power Plant and Electrical Industries. It gives great experience in working here as testing as per different standards are done here, which enhances our knowledge a lot.

Snails are faster than erda employees .. terrible..you just can't get anything done in time from entry to exit.. however still remains best infrastructure for calibration in india..hope they can improve on customer satisfaction.

The erda is nice for oil testing report of transform. Nice work ,but it's very slow. Many proses of documents varification. But report is perfect.

Place for certified testing and evaluation of electrical goods. It was amazing experience visiting ERDA for our Makpower make Transformer testing.

Autonomous, Best place for testing of electrical machine (i.e. IP test, paint test, dielectric test..) and callibration of equipments. Only one kind of organisation in 400 km diameter. Another are at Bhopal (CPRI)and Bangalore (CPRI).

Very good people, staff as well as HOS , Best test facilities, Best environmental conditions and pure hygienic food available in canteen
