JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary The Sr. Project Manager will manage New Product Development (NPD) programs and development and deploy business infrastructure programs from inception to launch. They would be essential in coordinating the efforts of engineering, product management, manufacturing, procurement, quality, order fulfillment, logistics, service, marketing, sales and other cross-functional groups to optimize time to market while monitoring the project and continuously evaluating changes to the product cost, schedule and resources. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related projects, over cross-functional groups, directed toward strategic business and other organizational objectives. The Sr. Project Manager is also responsible for each cross functional group's project, which rolls up to the overall program deliverables. These projects contain complex activities that may span functions, organizations, geographic regions, and cultures. They must build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels, including those external to the organization. Additional responsibilities include maintaining continuous alignment of program scope with business objectives and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness. The Sr. Project Manager are responsible for determining and coordinating the sharing of resources among their cross functional team projects to the overall benefit of the program. Responsibilities : Ensure services line of business deliverables and tollgate signoff are aligned with the global NPD process. Collaborate with appropriate LOB leads to streamline service deliverables and requirements. Set up a process to ensure Service LOB participation in requirement gathering for Marketing Requirement Specification (MRS) and Engineering Requirements Specification (ERS) for new products and metrics. Lead development of Smartsheet project for individual NPD project management and reporting. Set up project dashboard and metrics. Liaise with the regions to ensure the successful launch of service mobile tools and forms. Participate in cross-functional teams that address strategic ways of using tools to improve operations. Review project status and deliverables in preparation for the tollgate reviews. Establish monthly project review meetings with executive and service LOB leaders. Provide executive-level program updates to senior management and executive sponsors. Monitor team schedules and ensure coordination of activities on the critical path. Develop and track metrics to report new product escapes. Develop reporting and tracking programs to assure the project is on target for schedule and cost. Identify key issues and drive decisions to ensure that the project does not slip. Identify key risks and have a contingency plan. Work with management of different operating functions to identify and obtain required resources to adequately staff project. Communicate with other managers, upper management, or outside vendors and other plants, as required. Provide Training development and delivery of process. Other duties as assigned. Requirements : Bachelor of Science (Engineering preferred) or Bachelor's Degree in Business and 8+ years of work experience in Project or Program Management, product management, or engineering. Certified PMP, Project Management Professional, or commitment to obtain. Experience working with or leading international teams. A broad-based general management background is essential. Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes and procedures is key. Knowledge of accounting, purchasing, and ERP/MRP is helpful. The Program Manager may drive the program with no direct authority. It is therefore essential that she/he has good people skills and good communication skills, including running meetings and presentations. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented, global work environment. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication abilities including collaborating with subject matter experts, global stakeholders, and managers to transfer knowledge. Good facilitation skills; Attention to detail; Problem solving attitude; Strong process orientation. Ability to deliver amidst changing requirements, deadlines, and priorities. Up to 20% Global travel Proficient with Smartsheet, PowerBI and MS Office. Preferred: Master of Science or MBA and 10 -15 years of work experience in Project or Program Management, Product Management, or Engineering Experience with Single Phase UPS and KVM systems desired. JOB DESCRIPTION Brief Job Description: Integration engineers require a substantial amount of specialized expertise, including power system studies, software and hardware engineering, interface protocols, and general problem-solving skills. The problems to be solved have not been solved before, except in the broadest sense. Projects will include new and challenging problems with an input from a broad range of engineers where the system integration engineer "pulls it all together." Develop and maintain an expert level of technical expertise in electric power system protection and automation. Work closely with design, vendor, utility, regulatory agency, operators, owners, contractors, and protection engineers to create system programming which translates the owner’s requirements into concrete technical designs. Develop settings for all layers of control including protective relaying, communication processors, Human Machine Interface (HMI Simulate power system conditions in a lab environment to test communications and automation functionality of integrated IEDs and software packages. Serve as a technical resource for ERS Field Engineers during installation, commissioning and operation of the electric power system protection and automation systems. Write complete, detailed reports using a computer and accurately process job billing. Perform sales support functions. Education & Certifications: Graduate Engineer BSEE or BSME and eight years’ experience in design, testing and commissioning of protection and automation systems. Five years’ experience as Power Systems Engineer Registered Engineer in Training and the ability to obtain PE licensure within 1 year. Requirements: Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code and various industry standards, such as NERC, IEEE, OSHA and NFPA. Requires special skills in a majority of the following: Generation and co-generation start-up – ANSI, NEC, and NEMA specification; pilot wire and distance relaying - computer power system transient surveys - vector, phasor analogy- complex control systems - medium and high voltage substation start-up. Strong background and experience in all types of switchgear and equipment through the 500 kV class. Requires a high degree of communication, supervisory, and organizational skills. Communicate effectively, in writing and verbally, with clients, peers and management. Thorough knowledge of electrical apparatus testing with a strong theoretical understanding of electrical power systems, and good aptitude for problem evaluation. Complete projects consistently on budget. Good judgment, dependable, supervises large-scale projects with technical expertise and good business management skills. Strong computer skills including editing, formatting and using templates in Microsoft Office Suite, use of Manufacturer specific software and documentation of design within AutoCad. Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays and night work. Must be available for out-of-town and international travel of up to several weeks. Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear, and smell.
