Electrical Purchase Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Handle procurement of electrical materials for ongoing projects.
• Review BOQs and drawings to identify material requirements.
• Collect and compare quotations from different vendors.
• Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers.
• Identify and develop new vendors.
• Prepare purchase orders and maintain purchase records.
• Coordinate with project managers and site engineers.
• Follow up with vendors for timely material delivery.
• Ensure material quality as per project specifications.
• Monitor purchase costs and maintain procurement reports.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of electrical materials and equipment.
• Basic understanding of BOQs and electrical drawings.
• Good negotiation and vendor coordination skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
