Position Details
- Job Title: Electrical Engineer
- Location: Mumbai
- Experience Required: 8 to 10 Years
- Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month
- Industry Preference: STP / WTP / Water Treatment / Infrastructure Projects
JJD- Electrical Project Execution
- Handle complete electrical execution activities for STP/WTP and industrial plant projects.
- Supervise day-to-day electrical installation and site execution activities as per project schedules.
- Ensure smooth execution of electrical works in coordination with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams.
Installation & Erection Activities
- Supervise installation of electrical panels, transformers, HT/LT systems, MCCs, PCCs, VFDs, motors, DG systems, and related electrical equipment.
- Monitor cable tray installation, cable laying, glanding, termination, and panel interconnections.
- Ensure proper erection and alignment of electrical systems as per approved drawings and standards.
Testing & Commissioning
- Monitor electrical testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and startup activities.
- Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, earth resistance tests, and functional testing.
- Coordinate trial runs and commissioning activities for motors, pumps, blowers, and other plant equipment.
- Support commissioning teams during plant startup and performance testing.
Drawing & Specification Compliance
- Ensure all electrical works are executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, technical specifications, and project standards.
- Review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), cable schedules, and load calculations.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements and statutory electrical regulations.
Coordination & Site Management
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Attend project review meetings, site inspections, and client coordination meetings.
- Resolve site-related technical and execution issues in coordination with concerned departments.
BOQ Verification & Material Planning
- Prepare BOQ verification, quantity estimation, and material requirement planning.
- Monitor material consumption and ensure timely availability of electrical materials at site.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for material approvals, vendor follow-ups, and delivery schedules.
Maintenance Coordination
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance coordination during project execution and commissioning phases.
- Support troubleshooting and rectification of electrical faults and operational issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend corrective measures when required.
Power Distribution & Electrical Systems
- Monitor installation and maintenance of earthing systems, lighting systems, power distribution systems, and control wiring.
- Ensure proper cable routing, panel connectivity, and electrical load distribution.
- Supervise HT/LT power connections and electrical infrastructure works.
Automation & Instrumentation Support
- Coordinate with automation and instrumentation teams for PLC, SCADA, and field instrumentation integration.
- Support electrical interfacing with control panels, sensors, transmitters, and automation systems.
- Assist in control system testing and signal verification activities.
Safety & Quality Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations, quality standards, and project procedures.
- Promote safe working practices during electrical installation and testing activities.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure proper usage of PPE and electrical safety measures.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation including inspection reports, testing records, cable test reports, and commissioning reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Maintain as-built drawings, handover documents, and project completion records.
- Support preparation of final project documentation and client handover dossiers.
Client Inspection & Handover
- Attend client inspections, consultant visits, and statutory inspections.
- Ensure timely closure of punch points and inspection observations.
- Support successful project commissioning, final testing, and project handover activities.
- In case if concern authority is not available then need to Maintain Client and Subcontractor Billing.
Reporting – He has to report daily to project Manager
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
