As an Electrical Engineer/Sr. Engineer at Electric Motor Company located in Andheri East, your primary responsibility will be handling Technical Enquiry processing, sales order Processing, and Development of Electrical motors. To excel in this role, you are expected to have a minimum qualification of B.E. / B. Tech Electrical. You should be well-versed in various technical terms related to electrical motors such as the Electrical motor Equivalent circuit, Circle Diagram of motor, Characteristics of Induction motors, and Starting time calculation of motor with application. Additionally, you should have knowledge of the applications of motors including Variable torque/constant torque Pump, FAN, Compressor, and crane. Your expertise should extend to understanding the connection of motors in star/Delta and their behavior, as well as different starting methods like DOL/VFD/Star Delta. Proficiency in reading General Arrangement drawings and awareness about accessories used in motors such as RTD, BTD, PTC, and Encoder will be beneficial for this role. Familiarity with software tools related to the Design of motors such as SPEED, HEEDS, VICA, and ANSYS is essential. Hands-on experience with shop floor activities including Winding, Assembly of motor, and Testing (Routine test, Type test, special tests like noise vibration, IP-55) is a requirement. Knowledge of Certifications like PESO, ATEX, and a willingness to travel from the Design office to the Manufacturing unit as and when required are also expected from the ideal candidate.
