At Edysor.ai, we are looking for a Founding Engineer, who is deeply hands-on, backend-first, and delivery-oriented to design, build, and scale core components of our CRM, AI-driven recruitment workflows, and Voice AI platform . The right partner would be a self driven, result oriented individual who works at a fast pace and has the ambition to create an impactful product together with us. This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, AI/ML integration, and voice intelligence . You will lead small squads, own critical modules, and work closely with AI, product, and platform teams to deliver production-grade voice-enabled AI systems. Key Responsibilities A) Lead Technical Delivery Own end-to-end technical design, development, and integration of key backend services and APIs. Drive implementation of AI-powered workflows , including voice-based automation and conversational systems. Maintain high engineering standards through code reviews, design discussions, and best practices. Translate product and business requirements into well-scoped technical designs, tasks, and milestones B) Architecture & Problem Solving Design scalable backend architectures for CRM workflows, AI pipelines, and real-time voice systems . Build and orchestrate agentic workflows using LangGraph and LangChain where applicable working together with the AI engineers. Troubleshoot and optimize system performance, latency, reliability, and security—especially for voice and AI-heavy workloads . C) AI/ML & Voice AI Integration Integrate and optimize STT (Speech-to-Text) and TTS (Text-to-Speech) models into production systems. Work with AI teams to improve transcription accuracy, reduce response latency and optimize inference cost and throughput. Build backend services that power voice bots, VoIP, AI calling agents, and conversational CRM features . Understand and apply concepts from the voice calling ecosystem , including call flows, dialog management, and real-time constraints D) Mentor & Guide Engineers Guide and mentor 2–6 engineers through hands-on guidance and technical reviews. Set clear technical direction, manage technical debt, and promote clean, maintainable systems. Act as a go-to problem solver for complex backend and AI/voice challenges. What are we looking for? Experience designing REST/GraphQL APIs , microservices, and cloud-based systems (AWS/GCP). Hands-on experience building agentic workflows using LangGraph/LangChain . Experience integrating AI/ML models into production systems , not just experiments. Strong understanding of the Voice AI ecosystem , including: - STT / TTS model integration - Voice bot or conversational system backends - Latency and reliability considerations for voice systems Proven ownership of complex features or systems end-to-end. Experience with VoIP, SIP, WebRTC, or cloud telephony infrastructure . Familiarity with LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and AI observability. Prior experience in CRM, EdTech, RecruitmentTech, or workflow automation platforms . Exposure to cost optimization for AI inference and voice infrastructure
