They gather information about clients' backgrounds, experiences, and symptoms to formulate accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.Psychotherapy and Counselling: They provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions to help clients explore and address their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and interpersonal relationships. Counselling psychologists use evidence-based therapeutic techniques and approaches tailored to clients' needs and goals, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, humanistic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.Crisis Intervention and Support: Counselling psychologists offer crisis intervention services and emotional support to clients experiencing acute distress, trauma, grief, or other crisis situations.
