ECI Venture is expanding its Innovation Team, and we’re looking for a Business Innovation Specialist who can help shape, refine, and elevate client business ideas into strong, innovative, and future-ready concepts that meet the UK Innovator Founder standards. About the Role In this role, you will work alongside Business Analysts, Lead Writers, and Strategists to design innovative features, digital solutions, AI-driven enhancements, and scalable business models tailored to UK market expectations. You will play a key part in ensuring that every business idea is aligned with the Innovation, Viability, and Scalability (IVS) framework required for endorsement. What You’ll Do Develop and refine innovative business concepts for clients aiming for the Innovator Founder route. Assess existing ideas and add strong innovation value using digital, AI, or tech-enabled solutions. Produce structured innovation frameworks and scalability roadmaps. Collaborate with writers and analysts to support business plan development. Stay up to date with UK market trends, emerging technologies, and endorsement agency preferences. Ensure every idea meets Innovator Founder endorsement expectations. Education & Experience A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Product Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). At least 2 years of hands-on experience developing or improving business ideas. Experience working with UK businesses or understanding the UK market is a strong advantage. Familiarity with Innovator Founder endorsement standards (or willingness to learn quickly). Core Skills Accounting Skills Strong innovation and creative-thinking ability. Ability to develop new ideas or modernise existing business concepts. Understanding of innovation, viability, and scalability principles. Good grasp of digital transformation, AI applications, or technology-enabled solutions. Business modelling and strategic thinking. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent English communication and the ability to explain ideas clearly. Technical Competence Comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT and AI-based productivity tools. Familiar with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel. Basic use of tools like CRMs, project management tools is a plus Ability to collaborate with analysts, writers, and strategists in a remote environment. Bonus (Not Required, But Great to Have) Certification in Accounting Certification in Innovation, Design Thinking, Digital Transformation, or Product Management. Prior experience helping startups develop pitch decks, business plans, or tech-led solutions.
