The ideal candidate should have in-depth expertise in Oracle HRMS modules, with a special focus on UK Payroll processes. This includes the ability to handle statutory requirements like P11D, manage and amend Fast Formulas, and implement changes related to National Insurance (NI), statutory sick pay, and other key payroll elements. HRMS Modules Expertise Hands-on experience in Oracle HRMS modules such as Core HR, Payroll, SSHR, OTL, iRecruitment, and Performance Management, including configuration, customization, and maintenance. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, BI Publisher, and XML Publisher for developing and customizing HRMS-related components. Functional Knowledge In-depth understanding of HR and Payroll processes, statutory compliance, benefits, and business workflows to effectively translate business needs into system solutions. Implementation & Support – Proven experience in end-to-end Oracle HRMS implementations, upgrades, and production support, including issue analysis, bug fixing, and enhancement requests. Stakeholder Collaboration – Ability to work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams, gather requirements, prepare functional/technical documentation, and provide user training and UAT support. Key Responsibilities Analyze current HRMS and UK Payroll configurations and processes. Lead amendments and enhancements to statutory components like P11D, NI, and other payroll elements as per UK legislation. Develop, review, and modify Oracle Fast Formulas as needed. Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions within Oracle HRMS. Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues relating to payroll, formula changes, or output discrepancies. Produce thorough documentation, user guides, and handover notes for any changes or developments. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure defect-free deployment. Essential Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience with Oracle HRMS, with a strong techno-functional background. Proven expertise in UK Payroll, including statutory processes, RTI reporting, P11D, National Insurance calculations, statutory sick pay, maternity/paternity pay, and year-end activities. Advanced knowledge of Oracle Fast Formulas: creation, modification, and troubleshooting. Competency in performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions to Oracle Payroll issues. Ability to work independently and deliver within tight deadlines. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with remote work and self-management of deliverables.
