Job Description

RAJAGIRI HOSPITAL is looking for Echo Technician to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.
Patient Preparation : Explain the echocardiogram procedure to patients, prepare them for the test, and ensure their comfort during the examination. Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain specialized ultrasound equipment, including 2D, 3D, and Doppler echocardiography machines. Image Acquisition : Perform echocardiograms by placing the transducer on the patient's chest, capturing images of the heart's chambers, valves, and blood flow. Data Analysis : Analyze echocardiographic images and measurements to assess heart function, identify abnormalities, and calculate ejection fraction and cardiac output. Reporting : Prepare and generate detailed echocardiogram reports for physicians and healthcare providers, including image documentation and measurements. Image Optimization : Adjust ultrasound settings to optimize image quality, clarity, and diagnostic accuracy. Patient Monitoring : Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their comfort and well - being throughout the examination. Quality Control : Maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring that images and reports meet diagnostic criteria. Documentation : Maintain accurate records of echocardiograms, patient information, and medical histories. Patient Education : Educate patients about echocardiogram results and assist in explaining findings and recommendations.
