We’re building original IPs and long-term franchises with a strong emphasis on audio-driven storytelling. 🎮 About the Internship We are looking for a passionate Sound Designer Intern who wants hands-on experience working on real game projects. You’ll work closely with the game design and development team to create, edit, and implement sound effects that enhance gameplay, atmosphere, and emotional impact—especially for horror experiences. This internship is ideal for students or early-career creators who want to build a strong game audio portfolio . 🛠️ Responsibilities Design and create sound effects (SFX) for gameplay, UI, environments, and horror events Work on atmospheric audio , ambiences, and tension-building sound layers Assist in implementing audio inside Unity (using Audio Sources, mixers, triggers) Collaborate with designers to match sound with gameplay moments Edit, clean, and process audio using industry tools Help maintain organized audio libraries and naming conventions Participate in feedback sessions and iterate on sounds ⭐ Requirements Interest in game audio / sound design Basic knowledge of audio editing tools (Audacity, Reaper, Ableton, FL Studio, etc.) Understanding of how sound affects mood, tension, and player psychology Willingness to learn Unity audio implementation Good headphones and basic audio setup Passion for games (horror games are a big plus) 💡 Nice to Have (Not Mandatory) Prior experience with Unity audio Familiarity with middleware like FMOD or Wwise Experience creating horror or cinematic soundscapes Portfolio, demo reel, or sample sounds 🎁 What You’ll Gain Real-world experience working on a live game project Mentorship from a game development team A strong portfolio of shipped or near-shipped game audio Understanding of end-to-end game audio pipelines Opportunity to convert to a full-time role based on performance
