As an ODI App Admin at PWC with 6-10 years of experience, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Installation, maintenance, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle ODI software and related products. - Starting and stopping the application services. - Configuring and managing ODI Agents. - Monitoring the applications and related products. - Establishing and maintaining backup and recovery policies and procedures. - Taking care of the ODI application design and implementation. - Implementing and maintaining ODI Application security by creating and maintaining users and roles, and assigning privileges. - Working as part of a team and providing 24/7 support when required. - Performing general technical troubleshooting and providing consultation to development teams. - Troubleshooting in case of any problems. - Managing patch management and version control. - Performing application tuning and performance monitoring. - Cloning DEV/TEST environments from PROD. - Demonstrating good knowledge in OS like Linux/Unix and Windows as ODI software will be installed on these OS. - Having a very good understanding of Oracle core database architecture and concepts. - Conducting capacity planning to predict future needs based on the current database size and growth rate. - Possessing sound communication skills to interact effectively with management, development teams, vendors, and systems administrators. - Managing ODI code deployment and restoration process. - Configuring and managing the repository.
