Dy. Manager/Manager Cable Quality & Testing

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality systems across cable manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, UL, VDE, SABS, ASNZ and other applicable standards.
• Monitor incoming material quality, in-process inspections, and final product testing.
• Lead NABL, BIS, customer, and certification audits.
• Handle customer complaints, field failures, and CAPA implementation.
• Drive Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and quality improvement projects.
• Manage laboratory operations, routine/sample/type testing activities.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and monitor corrective actions.
• Prepare quality MIS, audit reports, and management review presentations.
• Support New Product Development (NPD) quality validation activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in Power Cable manufacturing quality.
• Sound knowledge of cable manufacturing processes and testing.
• Expertise in QMS, Quality Tools, and Process Improvement.
• Hands-on experience with 8D, CAPA, FMEA, SPC, MSA, RCA, and SAP.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 systems.
• Exposure to BIS, CPRI, ERDA, NABL and certification requirements.
