Job Description The candidate will head the PPC department & will be responsible for plan, schedule, monitor and control all production activities to ensure timely delivery of products, while optimizing resource utilization, minimizing downtime and aligning with customer delivery requirements. (Infra Div.), Position Title: Sr. Manager - PPC, Department: PPC , Job Location: Tilda Industrial Area, Raipur, Reports To: Operations Head Required Qualification: B.E (Mechanical) Required Experience: 10 to 12 years’ experience in PPC, Preferred Industry: Infra manufacturing / Steel fabrication / Infrastructure components (bridges, girders, slabs, pipes, etc.) / Construction material manufacturing Salary Budget: 70 k to 80 k / pm (Negotiable), Required by Date - At the earliest. Roles & Responsibilities : - Ø Production Planning & Scheduling: · Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales forecasts, orders, and inventory levels. · Coordinate with Sales, Design, Procurement, and Production teams to finalize the Master Production Schedule (MPS). · Translate customer orders and project schedules into actionable production plans. Ø Material Planning: · Liaise with Procurement and Inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials, consumables, and tools as per the production schedule. · Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations. Ø Capacity Planning: · Assess machine and manpower availability; identify bottlenecks and propose corrective actions. · Optimize resource allocation (machines, labor, tools) for maximum productivity. Ø Shop Floor Coordination & Monitoring: · Monitor actual production against plan and take corrective measures to bridge any variances. · Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols on the shop floor. Ø MIS & Reporting: · Maintain detailed records of production metrics – output, downtime, scrap, efficiency, etc. · Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management review. Ø Process Improvement: · Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. · Implement lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives. Ø Cross-functional Coordination: · Work closely with QA/QC, Maintenance, Dispatch, and Project Execution teams. · Ensure timely dispatch and project alignment.
