Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the Plant Head/Quality Head, the Manager Quality Assurance will have high accountability in overseeing and driving quality assurance initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate should be a strategic thinker, excellent communicator, and problem-solver. 1. Collaborate with the Plant Head/Quality Head, and cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality assurance strategies aligned with business goals. 2. Develop and maintain quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements. 3. Lead the quality assurance team, including recruitment, training, and performance management. 4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards. 5. Establish and implement effective quality control processes, including product testing, inspection, and reporting. 6. Foster relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in quality performance. 7. Monitor and analyse quality metrics and KPIs to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. 8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. 9. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance to drive continuous improvement initiatives. 10. Ensure compliance with relevant quality certifications and standards. 11. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement training programs to enhance quality awareness and skills. 12. Manage customer feedback and complaints, driving effective resolution and continuous improvement. 13. Prepare and manage the quality assurance budget, ensuring cost control and efficiency. 14. Provide regular reports and updates to the Plant Head/Quality Head and other stakeholders on quality performance and initiatives. Qualifications and Requirements: Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in senior managerial roles in quality assurance, preferably within the automotive manufacturing industry. Strong experience in developing and implementing quality management systems, process improvements, and quality control measures. Deep knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques. Proficiency in utilizing metrics and analytics to drive quality decisions and performance improvements. Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with quality management software. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Well-organized with excellent leadership qualities and the ability to lead and motivate a team. Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) in engineering or a related field; a Master's degree (MSc/MA/MBA) is preferable. Quality management certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO) are highly desirable. Strong experience in strategic planning and implementing procurement systems, including familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
