Ensure welds meet quality standards, strength requirements, and specifications. Inspect completed welds for defects and carry out repairs or rework when necessary. Safety and ComplianceFollow workplace safety guidelines and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and welding codes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times. Equipment and MaintenanceOperate welding machines, cutting tools, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and report any malfunctions. Select proper welding rods, wires, and gases based on job specifications. Quality and ProductivityMaintain consistent welding quality while meeting production deadlines. Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to complete tasks efficiently. Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Documentation and ReportingRecord work completed, materials used, and inspection results as required. Report safety hazards, material shortages, or quality issues to the supervisor.
