It has been declared an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. As a member of the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) system, NITJ is governed by the Council of NITSER. NITJ was initially known as Regional Engineering College Jalandhar and was founded as a joint venture between the state and central government. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a PhD Scholar, located in Jalandhar. The PhD Scholar will be responsible for conducting independent research, publishing research findings in recognized journals, assisting in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and participating in academic seminars and conferences. The role also involves collaborating with other researchers and faculty, and contributing to the academic environment of NITJ. Qualifications Strong research skills, including literature review, data collection, and data analysis Proficiency in academic writing and publishing research papers in recognized journals Experience in teaching or assisting in undergraduate and postgraduate courses Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work collaboratively with other researchers and faculty members Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Master's degree in a relevant field with a strong academic record Experience in relevant research projects or internships is a plus Commitment to academic integrity and ethical research practices
