We are now looking to expand our team with a driven and experienced Trade Finance Sales Manager to further enhance our sales capabilities. Job Overview As a Trade Finance Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new and existing client relationships within the trade finance space. Your role will involve driving sales for various trade finance products and services, and working closely with our finance and operations teams to ensure optimal delivery to clients. Key Responsibilities: Sales Development & Client Acquisition: o Identify and prospect potential clients in need of trade finance solutions. o Develop a pipeline of business opportunities and proactively seek new clients through outbound activities, networking, and referrals. o Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by offering tailored trade finance products that meet their needs. Product Knowledge & Consultancy: o Demonstrate a deep understanding of trade finance products (e.g., letters of credit, trade credit insurance, supply chain finance, etc.) to provide appropriate solutions. o Advise clients on the best financing options for their international trade requirements. Negotiation & Closing Sales: o Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring profitable deals for the company. o Prepare and deliver presentations to clients on trade finance solutions and benefits. Market Research & Trend Analysis: o Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities in the trade finance sector. o Monitor industry regulations and changes in the financial markets to ensure compliance and timely offerings to clients. Collaboration & Reporting: o Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, risk, and legal, to ensure smooth implementation of trade finance transactions. o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress within the company’s CRM system. Client Retention & Relationship Management: o Develop and implement strategies for maintaining long-term client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. o Follow up on post-sale activities and resolve any client issues related to trade finance products. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 1+ years of experience in trade finance sales, commercial banking, or a similar role. Strong understanding of trade finance products, international trade regulations, and financing solutions. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
