Job Description

As a DOCSIS Network Engineer in this Full-Time position based in Bangalore, your primary responsibilities will involve developing and testing DOCSIS technologies and solutions. You will be required to analyze and resolve technical issues related to DOCSIS systems, ensuring thorough testing and validation of DOCSIS implementations. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science/electronics or a related field along with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in DOCSIS network equipment testing and evaluation. Additionally, you should possess at least 3+ years of experience in IP Network Engineering, with expertise in packet-based protocols such as TCP/IP (including protocols like DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP, etc), MPLS, and routing protocols like OSPF and BGP4. It would be advantageous if you have experience in the development of network designs, planning, and network deployment strategies for the migration to DOCSIS 4.0. Familiarity with CableLabs/SCTE specifications and CCAP/CMTS hardware is desirable for this role. You will be expected to lead the development of network designs, planning, and deployment strategies for the migration to DOCSIS 4.0, leveraging your knowledge and experience with DOCSIS and Cable Modem Termination Systems, including DOCSIS 3.1 and 4.0.
