Job Description

As a DOCSIS Network Engineer (Developer and Tester) based in Bangalore, you will be responsible for developing and testing DOCSIS technologies and solutions. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing and resolving technical issues related to DOCSIS systems, as well as ensuring thorough testing and validation of DOCSIS implementations. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science/electronics or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in DOCSIS network equipment testing and evaluation. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IP Network Engineering, with proficiency in packet-based protocols such as TCP/IP (including protocols like DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP, etc), MPLS, and routing protocols like OSPF and BGP4. Experience in the development of network designs, planning, and deployment strategies for the migration to DOCSIS 4.0 is preferred. Familiarity with CableLabs/SCTE specifications, CCAP/CMTS hardware, and knowledge of DOCSIS and Cable Modem Termination Systems including DOCSIS 3.1 and 4.0 will be advantageous in this role. In this position, you will lead the development of network designs, planning, and deployment strategies for the migration to DOCSIS 4.0.
