Position Summary The Incumbent of this role will be responsible for delivering CAM Programs to CNC machines located in various Manufacturing Plants globally. Work You’ll Do Generate CNC programs needed to fabricate components for Mills or Lathes, working towards programming with both methods. Verify CNC code using Vericut . Responsible for Delivery and Quality of CAM programs On-time, Address issues affecting On-time-delivery and Quality in a timely manner. Understands existing processes and offers areas of improvement. Strong attention to detail and an ability to provide timely technical assistance to other team members is required. Follow up engineering change requests, non-conformances and documents with signatures and latest versions. Write operator documentation for the CNC programs. Design and coordinate fabrication of tools required to support CNC operations. Provide feedback to Manufacturing Engineering on tool planning. Troubleshoot CNC programs to improve efficiency and quality. Notify Supervisor when assigned work will not meet timelines. Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements. Ensure ISO guidelines are followed. Team This role will be a part of CAM Programming team - India and Global CAM team. Basic Qualifications The incumbent of this role must be a Diploma/Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering/CIPET/NTTF/CITD with a minimum of 4 to 7 years' experience i n CNC programming and machining, demonstrated experience with CAM systems such as Esprit CAM, Siemens NX or any other CAM packages is required. Good knowledge of hot runner designs and understanding the application of Mold master’s products in customer’s process. A strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent organizational skills are required. A mechanical aptitude, ability to apply common sense and problem solve involving several concrete variables in standardized situations is required.
