Job Title: Accountant – Logistics & Transportation Industry (5+ Years Experience) Job Advertisement: Position: Accountant Industry: Logistics / Transportation Experience Required: Minimum 5 years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Accountant with a strong background in logistics and transportation accounting . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounts, vendor reconciliations, transport billing, and compliance with GST and TDS regulations. Key Responsibilities: Maintain books of accounts in Tally. Prepare transport invoices, trip statements, and freight reconciliations. Handle vendor and customer ledgers, balance confirmations, and payment follow-ups. Assist in finalization of accounts and audit schedules. Maintain accurate documentation for transport expenses, fuel bills, and driver advances. Required Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST-TDS provisions. Experience in logistics or transport sector accounting is mandatory . Proficiency in Tally, Excel. Qualifications: BCom or equivalent.- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics accounting.
