Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using

  Python & Django framework

  .
• Develop and integrate

  RESTful APIs

  with frontend and third-party services.
• Work with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), including writing optimized queries.
  
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
  
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance.
  
• Participate in code reviews and follow SDLC best practices.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams Product, Frontend, DevOps, and QA.
  

Must-Have Skills

• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  and

  Django/Django REST Framework (DRF)

  .
• Hands-on experience with databases like

  PostgreSQL / MySQL

  .
• Good understanding of

  MVC/MVT architecture

  .
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  
• Knowledge of API integration (REST/JSON).
  
• Solid understanding of

  OOPs

  , data structures, and software design principles.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS / Azure / cloud deployment.
  
• Familiarity with Docker or DevOps pipelines.
  
• Basic understanding of frontend (React / Angular / HTML / CSS / JS).
  
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  
• 1–5 years of relevant experience as a Django Developer.

• Kolkata, West Bengal

• Candidates must currently reside in Kolkata or be willing to relocate.
