Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for an Ophthalmologist located at Divya Prabha Eye Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The role involves diagnosing and treating various ophthalmic conditions, performing surgeries as necessary, conducting routine eye exams, and providing pre- and post-operative care. The Ophthalmologist will also collaborate with a team of medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and treatment outcomes. Qualifications Strong expertise in Ophthalmology, including diagnosis and treatment of eye conditions Proficiency in surgical procedures, including cataract surgery and experience with advanced surgical equipment Practical knowledge in Medicine and Optometry for comprehensive patient care Familiarity with using advanced Laser technologies for vision correction and other ophthalmic procedures Postgraduate medical qualification in Ophthalmology (e.g., MS/MD/DNB or equivalent) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach Previous professional experience in a hospital or clinical setting highly preferred Commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements and practices in eye care
