Dispensing of Medicine Professional

Two tracks

• Pharmacist

  (D.Pharm / B.Pharm): dispenses medicines against prescriptions, guides customers on dosage, and takes responsibility for the store s medicine handling. This track is at the higher end of the salary range.

• Pharmacy Assistant / Store Associate

  (SSLC / PUC / Degree): helps customers at the counter, does billing, arranges and audits stock, and supports the pharmacist. Training is given.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense medicines accurately against doctors prescriptions (Pharmacist)
• Serve customers at the counter, find the right products and handle billing
• Check medicine stock, expiry dates and batch numbers, and take part in regular stock audits
• Keep shelves organised and medicines stored correctly
• Keep billing and stock records accurate in the store system
• Give polite, patient service to every customer

What we re looking for

• SSLC, PUC, any degree, D.Pharm or B.Pharm. A pharmacist registration is needed for the Pharmacist track
• Good communication, including the ability to read and understand prescriptions and medicine names
• Willing to commit to the job for the long term
• Basic computer skills for billing
• Honest, careful and customer-friendly
