Director, Account Management (Hybrid)

Full time, Bangalore, India

You will be responsible for managing a team of program managers and/or a major account. You will help achieve the company's goals related to client retention, quality service delivery, client and BCD Travel profitability, preferred vendor maximization, and technology implementation.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Program Managers to deliver outstanding client service and business results.
• Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Drive client retention, satisfaction, and account growth across the portfolio.
• Oversee client business plans and ensure delivery against agreed objectives.
• Manage account profitability, budgeting, pricing, and financial performance.
• Lead contract negotiations and support commercial discussions with clients.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and grow existing accounts.
• Ensure service levels, operational excellence, and performance targets are achieved.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Sales, Finance, and Leadership.
• Recruit, coach, and develop talent while fostering a high-performance culture.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Program Management, Account Management, or Client Services.
• Proven ability to manage and grow strategic client relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting and profitability management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (approximately 25% of the time).
• Business travel industry or corporate account management experience is an advantage.
