Knowledge about Core & Caving Die Splitting. 6. Good knowledge in GD & T. 7. Able to convert the surface model to solid model in Creo ( Patch Work) 8. Able to prepare Die BOM for all die parts. 9. Knowledge to do 2D for all die parts using CREO. 10. Knowledge in CREO Toolkit Software 11. Knowledge in CREO EMX 12. Knowledge in Computer Software in C Language 13. Knowledge in CREO 2D & 3D Preferred candidate profile Degree/diploma in B.E OR B.TECH in mechanical Engg. or its relevant. Exposure preferably in manufacturing assembly, quality control. Role & responsibilities Lead aluminum die casting operations , focusing on high-pressure die casting (HPDC) and low-pressure die casting (LPDC) technologies. Set and optimize machine parameters to ensure consistent casting quality and reduced cycle times. Implement and monitor SPC (Statistical Process Control) systems to proactively identify and correct process deviations. Review and validate product specifications , ensuring compliance with dimensional tolerances and metallurgical standards. Collaborate directly with end customers to address quality concerns, conduct reviews, and ensure satisfaction. Design and deploy modular fixtures for flexible line setups, enabling quick changeovers and multi-product adaptability. Lead critical process interventions , including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures. Train and mentor production teams on best practices in die casting, machine setup, and quality control. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies. Maintain detailed documentation of process parameters, quality metrics, and customer feedback. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field. Minimum 20 years of experience in aluminum die casting, with proven expertise in machine setting and process control. Strong understanding of SPC tools , GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis. Experience with modular fixture design and flexible manufacturing systems. Familiarity with casting simulation software (e.g., MAGMASOFT, FLOW-3D). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in customer-facing roles. Demonstrated ability to manage critical processes under pressure with patience and precision. Preferred Attributes Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial component manufacturing . Exposure to global quality standards (ISO/TS/IATF). Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multi-shift operations
