Reporting to – Head of Projects (VP-Projects)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DGM for Projects Execution to lead the end-to-end delivery of the Group’s hospitality projects. The role is critical to ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven delivery of renovation projects across existing operational properties as well as new greenfield developments. The candidate will be responsible for leading projects from concept and feasibility through planning, design coordination, budgeting, tendering, procurement, execution, commissioning, and handover, while maintaining strict control over timelines, budgets, quality, safety, and statutory compliance.

Renovation & Upgradation of Existing Properties

· Greenpark Chennai (GPC)

· AVASA

· Greenpark Visakhapatnam (GPV)

· Asset-managed property in Ahmedabad

New Greenfield Developments

· Hebbal, Bengaluru

· Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities

· Lead end-to-end execution of all renovation and greenfield projects across the Group.

· Drive concept development, feasibility studies, and project planning in line with business objectives.

· Lead design coordination with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, and structural consultants.

· Prepare, review, and control project budgets, cost plans, and cash-flow forecasts.

· Oversee tendering, contractor evaluation, negotiation, and award of contracts.

· Guide procurement strategy for materials, FF&E, OS&E, and long-lead items.

· Establish master schedules and monitor milestones across multiple projects simultaneously.

· Ensure strict control over timelines, costs, quality, safety, and statutory compliance.

· Plan and execute renovation works in operational hotels with minimum disruption to guests and operations.

· Coordinate with hotel operations, internal teams, and other stakeholders to align project deliverables with hospitality standards.

· Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover of completed projects.

· Manage variations, claims, and contractor billing and ensure cost-effective project closure.

· Obtain and track local authority approvals, licences, and statutory clearances.

· Lead, mentor, and strengthen the project execution team, including MEP, civil & interior, and planning engineers.

· Present project progress, risks, and recovery plans to the Head – Projects and senior management.

· Implement project management systems, reporting formats, and execution best practices.

Scope of Works

· Civil and structural works

· Interior fit-out works – guest rooms, lobby, banquets, F&B outlets, and public areas

· MEP works – HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems

· Façade, landscaping, and external development works

· FF&E and OS&E installation and coordination

· Testing, commissioning, and pre-opening handover

Required Skills

· Strong end-to-end project management capability for hospitality projects.

· Commercial acumen in budgeting, cost control, tendering, and contract management.

· Sound technical knowledge of civil, interior, and MEP works.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and sites simultaneously.

· Excellent stakeholder coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.

· Strong leadership, execution discipline, and decision-making abilities.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project / Primavera, MS Office, and project tracking tools.

· Knowledge of safety standards, statutory regulations, and local authority approvals.

Qualification

· Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.

Experience

· 15+ years of experience in Hospitality projects execution, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

· Proven track record of delivering both hotel renovations and large-scale greenfield hospitality developments.

· Experience in executing renovation projects in operational hotel properties preferred.

Preferred Requirements

· Experience with reputed hotel groups, hospitality developers, or project management consultancies.

· Exposure to brand standards and technical requirements of hotel operators.

· Experience in fast-track and multi-location project delivery.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
