Role Summary As the Business Development Manager , your mission is simple but powerful: Get us more ideal clients and grow revenue . You’ll be the front face for leads, proposals, and partnerships — selling our digital marketing and web development services with strategy, empathy, and flair. Key Responsibilities - Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify and qualify high-value leads in niches like healthcare, education, real estate, finance, wellness, and e-commerce Build and manage a prospect pipeline using CRM and outreach tools (manual + AI-aided) Run cold outreach campaigns via LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email Sales & Client Acquisition Pitch DGITGROW’s services confidently – SEO, Performance Ads, Social Media, Website Development, etc. Conduct needs assessment calls with prospects and translate them into customized solutions Prepare proposals, presentations, and quotes with the design/tech team Close deals and onboard clients smoothly in coordination with the internal team Client Relationship & Upselling Nurture client relationships post-acquisition to encourage renewals, cross-selling, and upselling Be proactive in identifying what more value we can offer to each client (SEO upgrades, design revamp, funnel setup, etc.) Market Research & Strategy Track trends in the digital agency space – pricing models, new service demands, tool stacks Spy (ethically) on competitors and identify whitespace Provide feedback to the internal team to develop new packages and offerings Targets & Reporting Meet monthly and quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets Maintain performance reports using tools like Excel/CRM/Google Sheets Provide weekly updates to the founders on pipeline, wins, and losses Key Requirements 1–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition (digital marketing or SaaS agency preferred) Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Familiar with digital marketing lingo: SEO, CPC, ROAS, Funnels, etc. High ownership mindset — can work independently and move fast Comfortable working with KPIs and hitting targets Hands-on with tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, WhatsApp Business API, etc. is a bonus Compensation & Perks Base Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹40,000 (based on skills and performance in the interview) Incentives: Performance-linked commissions on client deals Work with a passionate, driven team that believes in growth without the fluff Scope to grow into a Chief Growth Officer role within 12–18 months if KPIs are consistently met What This Role is Not This is not a cushy “corporate BD” job — it’s a growth ownership role You won’t be just handing leads to someone else.
