Development Engineer/Design Engineer (2D & 3D Modelling)

As a Development Engineer/Design Engineer at GWASF Quality Castings Pvt Ltd in Mangalore, your role will involve working on new drawings review, verification and reporting of engineering changes, and clarification of drawings for customers, in-house, and vendors. You will also conduct feasibility studies for Pattern, Methoding, and Machining, prepare casting models, drawings, and machining drawings, and compare casting and machining prints for verification. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing Pattern layout, verifying Pattern models, preparing Mounting layout, and evaluating Simulations. Your duties will also include controlling new development items in every process, verifying Inspection reports for Pattern and Casting, preparing Weld Log Sheets, Radio graphic shooting sketches, and managing design-related documentations such as Drawings, Root card, Methods Card, Inspection reports, and layouts. You will be involved in Sample Follow up, implementing and sustaining 6s practices, and reporting to the Manager-Engineering at the specified location. The ideal candidate should have a BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in 2D & 3D Modeling. Local candidates from Mangalore will be preferred for this full-time position. The benefits package includes health insurance, leave encashment, and Provident Fund.
