About Us: We are Designopolis, an e-learning platform dedicated to pioneering educational experiences in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry Role Overview: We are looking for a seasoned MEP Mentor with a strong professional background. The ideal candidate will have a Masters in Building Engineering, a hands-on experience managing projects from concept to completion, a deep understanding of standard operating procedures (SOPs), and a passion for teaching best practices to other professional designers. Previous teaching or mentoring experience is highly valued. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design comprehensive training programs, workshops, and bootcamps focused on building services. Instruction & Mentorship: Deliver engaging sessions that cover the entire lifecycle of building engineering, from planning and procurement to execution and handover. Process & Best Practices: Teach established SOPs, industry standards, and efficient workflows, drawing from your experience. Resource Creation: Develop clear and practical guides, checklists, case studies, and training materials that illustrate best in class building engineering. Collaboration: Work closely with the Designopolis team to tailor content that meets the needs of aspiring designers and aligns with current industry trends. Continuous Improvement: Seek and incorporate participant feedback to refine training materials and teaching methods for maximum impact. Industry Engagement: Stay updated on the latest developments, tools, and methodologies in the MEP sector to ensure training remains current and relevant. Qualifications: Experience: Extensive professional experience (ideally 5+ years) in MEP design with a strong record of end-to-end project execution. Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools, software, and methodologies specific to the building engineering industry. Teaching Experience: Demonstrated experience in teaching, mentoring, or conducting workshops/training sessions is highly desirable. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex processes into clear, actionable guidance. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Education: A Bachelors in Architecture/Engineering (B.Arch/B.Tech) is the minimum, a Masters in Building Engineering would be a bonus.
