Designation: Trainee- Audit

Location: Calicut

Availability: Immediate

Period of Engagement- 3 Months.

We are looking for an ACCA Affiliate who has Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA) as their optional paper.

Assessment and Confirmation Process

An initial assessment will be conducted after 45 days, focusing on technical, procedural, and client service skills.

This will be followed by a 90-day performance evaluation by your reporting manager.

At the end of probation, a final assessment will be conducted. Upon successful completion, you will be confirmed as a permanent employee.

Successful candidates will be absorbed into the organization and placed under a 6-month probation period.

Pre-engagement activities
a)Ensure the proper budget allocation has been received from Senior auditor or lead auditor. B) Ensure that proper access to Zoho and CW(current year and PY) c) Opening balance verification

Audit planning
a) TB analysis, import and mapping has been done properly within TAT b) Materiality has been updated correctly c) Obtain an understanding of the engagement from sr. Auditor or team lead

Audit Execution
a) Review initial draft preparation check list b) Ensure that initial draft has been prepared on time c) Figures are correctly classified in the financials and notes to the financial statements are updated properly. d) Updation are done accurately within budgeted time. e) Ensure that Jvs are posted accurately. f) Proper communication to UAE auditor for any clarifications regarding draft updation. g) Knowledge in preparation of financial statement using excel and word. h) Preparation of other reports like liquidation, review, compilation etc. I) Verification of financial statements, including totaling, cross checking and basic disclosures. J) Cash flow computation. k) Audit support and preparation of working papers. l) Assisting senior’s in their various activities. M) Consolidation of caseware file
