Role & responsibilities Subject: Sr.Design Engineer - Electrical required for a reputed Manufacturing Company in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu Dear Professionals I am Dharmambal from the Engineering Vertical of Masadir HR Services , an International Recruitment Firm. We have been retained by a professionally managed organisation to recruit Sr.Design Engineer - Electrical for them. Role & responsibilities Lead the design and development of electrical systems for advanced industrial machinery, ensuring adherence to company standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications. Develop detailed electrical circuit drawings, wiring diagrams, and layouts utilizing AUTO CAD or EPLAN software. Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs to automate various functions in industrial equipment. Select and recommend electrical components based on functionality, cost-effectiveness, and availability to enhance machine performance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and design requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues throughout the design, manufacturing, and operational phases. Ensure electrical designs are fully compliant with relevant safety regulations and industry best practices. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients to provide regular updates and address any project-related concerns. Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 8-12 years of experience in electrical design within the machine-building or industrial equipment manufacturing sector. Extensive expertise in electrical circuit design, wiring, and control systems. Proven proficiency in PLC programming, configuration, and troubleshooting. High-level proficiency in using AUTO CAD or EPLAN software for electrical design and schematics. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management, including guiding engineering teams through complex, collaborative projects.
