Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Welding Engineer located in Bhiwandi. The Welding Engineer will be responsible for overseeing welding processes, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards, and developing welding procedures. Tasks include monitoring welding activities, conducting quality assurance and inspections, optimizing welding techniques, and coordinating with the production and quality teams for continuous improvement. Additionally, the Welding Engineer will work on troubleshooting issues and ensuring equipment and materials meet company, customer & various applicable standards requirements. Qualifications Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, SMAW, and Flux Core Welding Experience developing and implementing welding procedures and specifications (WPS & PQR) Knowledge in quality control practices, non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, and inspection standards Capability in interpreting engineering drawings, data sheets and technical instructions Analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address welding-related challenges Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or a related field Professional certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or expertise in API & ASME standards are advantageous Experience in the valve manufacturing industry is a plus
