Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Piping Designer located in Chennai. The Piping Designer will be responsible for creating and modifying piping layout designs, preparing detailed drawings, and ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and project requirements. The role involves collaborating with engineers and other team members to ensure accuracy and completion of projects. Additionally, the Piping Designer will conduct site visits, review vendor drawings, and assist in the coordination of construction activities. Qualifications Proficiency in Piping Design and Layout Experience with software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, or SolidWorks Knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.) Ability to conduct site visits and coordinate with construction teams Excellent communication and teamwork skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries is a plus Certification in Piping Design or related disciplines is beneficial
