Position: Factory Manager Industry: Laminate Manufacturing (HPL/CPL) Location: Chhatral, Gujarat Reporting To: Director Sir Experience Required: 8–15 years in laminate or related industries Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Production Engineering Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Factory Manager to lead and manage the entire operations of our laminate manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of laminate production processes (pressing, impregnation, finishing), quality control, maintenance, team leadership, and production planning. Key Responsibilities ✅ Production & Operations Plan, schedule, and manage daily production to meet demand Oversee end-to-end laminate production processes (impregnation, hot press, sanding, cutting) Monitor machine performance and ensure timely maintenance ✅ Quality Control Ensure product quality as per industry standards (e.g. EN438, NEMA, BIS) Reduce rework, defects, and customer complaints Collaborate with QC teams to ensure consistent quality output ✅ Workforce & Team Management Lead, train, and supervise production teams (technicians, supervisors, operators) Maintain workforce discipline, morale, and productivity Implement safety standards and ensure compliance ✅ Inventory & Materials Monitor inventory of raw materials (kraft paper, decorative paper, resins) Coordinate with purchase/logistics teams for timely material availability ✅ Cost, Waste, and Efficiency Optimize production costs by reducing downtime and waste Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques ✅ Reporting & Coordination Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on production, quality, and maintenance Coordinate with Sales, R&D, and Supply Chain for demand and new product trials Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of laminate manufacturing machinery and materials Excellent leadership and people management skills Good understanding of preventive maintenance and troubleshooting Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) Awareness of EHS standards and chemical handling Salary: no bar for right candidate Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
