This Position reports to:

In this role you will be responsible for providing technical product support for PCP (Process Control Platform) products globally. Main focus is to support the Process Automation divisions in the Sales Phase to clarify product functionality and product architecture questions as well as presenting and demoing products and their value propositions.

You will work in a global product sales support team around the world, and you will collaborate with other functional areas inside PCP like product management, product marketing and other product specialists.

You will be in touch with colleagues in the Process Automation Divisions and support them to sell our PCP products successfully.

Your deep product knowledge is very important to provide correct answers with high quality to make sure our divisions use and sell our products in the best way.

Your role and responsibilities

• Support technical pre-sales activities of internal customers (product selection, functionality, architecture)
• Investigate technical product questions and propose solutions for requests from the ABB divisions duringsales phase related to all PCP products.
• Drive customer initiatives involving our PCP products
• Support of strategic projects in sales phase
• Present PCP products using the PCP demo systems in selected events.
• Pro-active communication with the sales team and other internal functions to guarantee customer satisfaction by providing all relevant information.
• Be the interface between the ABB divisions and the Product organization
• Provide feedback to the product managers of the various PCP products to improve the product quality.
• availability for up to 30% business travel

Qualifications for the role

5 years of experience in the Automation Field, experience in Distributed Control Systems and projects.

Technical knowledge about all PCP products and especially about System 800xA

Beneficial is Experience in Project Execution, Knowledge of ABB Heritage Systems and Cyber Security

Confident Presentation skills

Cultural awareness, good communication skills and flexible team player A Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field

Fluent in written and oral English
