We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Artist to join our VFX team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality paint and prep work across a range of projects, supporting seamless visual effects integration and maintaining the highest creative and technical standards. This role requires a strong eye for detail, solid technical skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality paint and prep work, including rig removal, wire removal, clean-ups, and background reconstruction Execute frame-by-frame paint work with attention to continuity, realism, and visual consistency Support VFX shots by removing unwanted elements such as tracking markers, reflections, blemishes, and crew or equipment Work closely with compositors, VFX supervisors, and production teams to meet creative and technical requirements Follow studio workflows, pipelines, and naming conventions accurately Manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining quality Respond positively to feedback and implement revisions efficiently Ensure all work meets client and studio quality standards before delivery Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a Paint Artist in a VFX, film, TV, or advertising environment Strong proficiency in Nuke (essential); experience with Silhouette is a plus Excellent understanding of clean-up techniques, patching, and paint methodologies Strong eye for detail, colour, texture, and realism Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team Good time management and organisational skills Comfortable working under tight deadlines Desirable Skills Experience working in a production pipeline within a VFX studio Understanding of compositing fundamentals Familiarity with different plate types (live action, CG, greenscreen) Experience working on long-form projects (TV/film) What We Offer Opportunity to work on exciting and diverse VFX projects Collaborative and supportive studio environment Exposure to experienced VFX professionals and supervisors Opportunities for learning, development, and career progression How to Apply Please submit: Your CV A showreel or portfolio demonstrating relevant paint work Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interview.
