Role Descriptions: DB2 UDB Database Administration (Madantory)
DB2 Installation Performing upgrades of the database into Higher Version and applying the PatchService Pack in DatabasePerform database enhancement and modification as per the requirements
Maintain database security and disaster recovery proceduresBackup of Database through TSM
Backup and restoration of DB2 databasesManages DB2 table changes to support application design and development effortsManaging schema objects| such as tables| indexes| and views
Assist in capacity planning| space management and data maintenance activities for database system performance issue and troubleshooting
DB2 HADR SETUP and maintaining dbs between primary secondary nodesDB2 REPLICATION between SQL and DB2SQL Server integration and Reporting ServiceDB2 Service Monitoring and tunnningAssist in implementation of new features and program fixes in databasesMonitor databases regularly to check for any errors such as existing locks and failed updates
