As an internal bore grinding machine operator, your primary responsibility will be to set up and operate internal grinding machines to grind internal cylindrical and tapered surfaces of metal workpieces. You will be required to interpret blueprints, work instructions, and other job specifications to determine grinding operations and sequences. Additionally, you will need to select and mount grinding wheel, regulate wheel speeds, and feeds, as well as perform dressing of grinding wheels as necessary. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the feed and speed of the machines during the grinding process to ensure quality and conformity of finished workpieces. You will also be expected to make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and adherence to specified tolerances. Attention to detail and the ability to inspect workpieces using precision measuring instruments will be essential to meet quality standards. Furthermore, you will need to perform routine maintenance on the grinding machines and maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment will be paramount. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals will be key to success in this position.,
